GOG’s 2012 DRM-Free Holiday Sale Is On!

It’s that time of year again, because you aren’t poor enough already from all the Steam sales.

That’s right: GOG’s annual Holiday DRM-Free sale has kicked off, and nearly every game (including the Ultimas, which are currently just $2.99 apiece) in their catalogue has received a 50% price cut!

As well, every day will see a new “Daily Deal” feature, where games by the featured developer will be marked down by as much as 75%! They’ve chosen to start with Bullfrog, so if you’ve been holding off on picking up Syndicate or Dungeon Keeper…now is the time.

And as if that weren’t enough already (and it is), GOG are also giving away Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition for the next 48 or so hours. (Actually, it’s probably closer to around 40 hours now, but whatever.) No, it’s not the best game in the history of games, but you can’t beat the price!

Keep checking back with GOG on a daily basis, as the featured developer special will change every 24 hours (actually, there’s about 18 hours left in the Bullfrog feature). And remember: if you want to support the Ultima Codex, the easiest way to do that is to buy your games from GOG! So not only will you be entertained and able to revisit the classics of yesteryear and yesterdecade…you’ll be able to keep getting your Ultima news fix too!

He said, shamelessly.
