Stratics To Interview Richard Garriott
Stratics has announced that they have a three-part interview with Richard Garriott scheduled to publish this weekend. The interview will publish in three parts, one each on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The interview will, in order, cover Garriott’s current projects (e.g. Ultimate Collector), his upcoming projects (e.g. the Ultimate RPG), and his journey into space.
Honestly, I don’t expect that Lord British will say anything more about any of these than he has said in past interviews. He gave a number of interviews in 2011, most of which took the same basic form. Still, do check in with Stratics this weekend to see what the Ultima creator discussed with them; now that Ultimate Collector is in beta, he might have more to say about it and where he plans to take Portalarium next.
Does Richard drink? Someone needs to conduct an interview over more than a few pints so the man can just cut loose. He normally seems to have his interviews so well planned with little spontaneity.

Indeed, though the women part I think he has in good order from the photos I’ve seen. I imagine him being a bit too much once drinking. He’s a force sober, so loose and lib he’d probably be akin to an F5 hurricane of inarguable tangents. Once he started explaining how to sharpen a sword and the ratio of steel to carbon as you progress from the edge of the blade I’d probably start getting worried.
