Ultima 7 in the Origin FX Screensaver
To celebrate the release of Ultima 7 through Ultima 9 on Good Old Games today, it seems fitting to revisit one of the classic Origin features from the Windows 3.1 era…the Origin FX Screensaver package.
Which, naturally, features an excerpt from Ultima 7:

I consider it a pity that they never ported this package to later Windows versions.

Absolutely classic. I still have my OriginFX Screensaver disks & am looking to locate an original box for them. I have this screensaver running on my 486 & my Pentium II systems.
Computer gaming was a magickal time back then. I remember having a special feeling playing classic Origin & Sierra titles. Sadly, that era is over. Ah the good ol’ 80’s & 90’s era…
