The Lairware Mac port’s title screen looks like Ultima 4’s.

    How so ?

Actually the 16 Bit version is the one who looks the most like Ultima IV.

One fun thing about the Lairware port too is that you can change the tileset and use any graphics you want, even the NES ones !

Oops, you’re right. Ultima 3 also had the demo minimap thing in its title screen. But WtF didn’t show that here except for the Lairware port.

Nice, that brings back memories… I’ve played the apple & pc versions and the lairware mac port. Hadn’t seen that FM Towns screen before though – looks cool.

The FM Town Ultima Trilogy actually use the same engine, tilesets and music for Ultima I, II and III. Which is pretty nice for U1&2, though Exodus lacks Kenneth Arnold’s music and U2 had some gameplay issues (Waiting causing to use food notably).
