“The Sosarian Paradox”: Roving Fog of War
Melavir Sauin Dragon hasn’t posted a ton of updates regarding his now-Neverwinter Nights-based remake of Escape from Mt. Drash to the project’s channel on the Ultima Dragons Discord server. However, late last week, he did post a link to this YouTube video:
Melavir offers this explanation of what we’re seeing in the video:
I’m steadily making progress with my Neverwinter Nights 1 module: “The Sosarian Paradox” and am closing in on the end of Act 2. Here we have “The Maze.” While not impossible to map it as you go, I kept it interesting by having the minimap constantly fade out the area beyond its normal radius, thus forcing the player to “work” a little bit harder to get to the goal line.
