Matti Paalanen, who works under the handle Celestial Aeon Project these days, was one of the main composers of music for Ultima IX: Redemption, a cancelled attempt to remake Ultima 9 using the Morrowind game engine and modding tools.

If you can believe it, the project was first announced twenty years ago, and Paalanen decided to observe the anniversary by releasing all of the tracks he had composed for the remake on his SoundCloud account. If you haven’t heard this music before, it might be well worth checking out!
