Slashing Dragon’s historical strategy/simulation game, NovaMundi: The Spear of Chaquén, is — per an announcement from the good Dragon himself — coming to Steam Early Access next month:

It should be noted that Slashing Dragon has discussed using the same engine that powers NovaMundi to create a more directly Ultima-inspired game at some point. NovaMundi is a historical tale, rather than a fantasy epic, but the engine would indeed map well to telling a story set in…say…Britannia, or a land very much like it.
