Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss Removed from Origin Store

I missed reporting on this earlier, but it’s kind of a big deal. Thus, let it be known that EA and Broadsword Online Games have removed the Stygian Abyss expansion for Ultima Onlinefrom the Origin digital storefront:

In preparation for the release of Endless Journey we are removing the Stygian Abyss and Stygian Abyss +30 day game time codes from the Origin Store as of 1pm ET February 6th, 2018. Stygian Abyss will be applied to all accounts for free when we publish Endless Journey this spring. While we are removing SA from the store now you can still apply codes if they are valid to use.

Endless Journey is, of course, the free-to-play version of Ultima Online. So if you were previously not able to check out Stygian Abyss — which, I understand, is an all-around excellent expansion to the game, and which includes a faithful re-creation of the first level of the Stygian Abyss from Ultima Underworld — you will be able to do so beginning later in the spring.
