Shards Online: Now on Steam Greenlight; New Trailer; Community Videos
June is shaping up to be a busy — and pivotal — month for Citadel Studios’ in-development MMORPG, Shards Online. The biggest news of the month (thus far) is that the game is now up on Steam Greenlight; you can vote for it there to show your desire to see it added to Steam’s library of games. And to further mark the occasion, a new trailer has been released for the game; you can watch it above.
In addition, another Community Roundtable event was held last weekend; a video of the highlights of that discussion is now available:

Topics in this Roundtable included — in addition to the then-upcoming Steam Greenlight campaign — upcoming community server features, the next pre-alpha release (version 0.3.4, evidently), and plans for the upcoming alpha test.
Finally, Dusty Monkey Gaming got a personal tour of one of the community servers, the Tales of Palanai. Though still under development, the Tales server is coming along nicely…and even has modding support!
It’s worth noting that Dusty himself was, at least for a while, kind of affiliated with the Codex (he comes from the Ultima Online community); he was also a fellow moderator over at the Shroud of the Avatar forums back in 2013 and early 2014.
