Ultima IX Redemption: Which Features Are Most Important to You?
Corv has published a survey at the Titans of Ether website, in an attempt to answer the following question:
In order to go in the right direction when making final decisions I wanted to ask you a few things. We start off today with the most general question. “What’s most important to you in an Ultima?”
The list of options is fairly comprehensive, and includes options such as:
- Engaging storyline
- Interactive world (movable, usable objects)
- Big but detailed (hand-crafted) open world
- Interesting NPCs with background stories
- State of the art graphics
- Complex quests (with puzzles, etc.)
- Realistic crafting (baking bread)
- Complex combat system
- Loot
- Party
- Interesting side quests
- Day/night cycle with NPC schedules
- Survival aspects (hunger, thirst, wounds, etc.)
- Many secrets to uncover
