n-Space’s upcoming Dungeons & Dragons-based CRPG, Sword Coast Legends, has been given a release date:

The official launch date for Sword Coast Legends has been confirmed for September 8, 2015, with versions set to appear on both PS4 and Xbox One later this year. Pre-orders for the game are currently available via the official site, and through the launch on Sept. 8 you can also take advantage of a special 13% discount on pre-orders through Steam.

If you’re unfamiliar with Sword Coast Legends, it’s an upcoming RPG based on the wildly popular Forgotten Realms setting for Dungeons & Dragons. Perhaps one of the most notable and compelling aspects of the game, the Dungeon Master tools will not only allow you to create gameplay for parties of adventurers, but will allow you to properly DM the experience in real time.

Basically, it’s a next-gen Neverwinter Nights, and it does look rather gorgeous. Here’s hoping n-Space are able to deliver; I’m seriously contemplating buying a 5-pack of the game so that I can DM for my co-workers on lunch breaks.

Note: It’s worth noting that the “for PC” release of Sword Coast Legends will evidently be coming to OS X and Linux, in addition to Windows.
