The latest update posted to the Ultima Online website is only in Japanese; no English-language translation is provided.

That being said, what I can glean from Google’s aspirations to multi-lingual prowess is that game time codes sold in Japan will all expire just before midnight on July 31, 2015. This would appear to be fallout from the migration of Ultima Online away from Mythic and to Broadsword Online Games…something to do with difficulties complying with fund settlement requirements, perhaps.

Anyhow, if you’re not playing Ultima Online on a Japanese shard, nothing in this update probably applies to you. And if you are, do be sure to redeem any outstanding game codes before the end of July!
