Andrew Owen posted several updates related to U3.5: Pax Britannia to the Ultima Dragons Facebook group last week. For starters, he uploaded a new copy of the game’s manual (which is called The Book of Lore) for people to proofread. He also showed off his working version of the Player Reference Card, and uploaded a copy of that for proofreading as well.

This, however, is probably the most exciting bit of news that he posted, however:

Got the proof copy of the book today. The cover is glossy and the inside cover is white, but the pages are a nice light cream and the quality is very good (not easy to see because I am hopeless at digital photography). I was expecting a white bar-code area on the back, but that didn’t happen so I’ll do a design for the back of the finished version. A couple of images are going to need borders adding, but other than that and the changes to the copy I’m really happy with how it’s turned out.

You can see the two images he took of The Book of Lore in its printed state, and it is rather apparent that the printer did an excellent job…as did Andrew himself with laying out the book.
