Reminder: Portalarium Are Still Looking for Crowdsourced Assets for Shroud of the Avatar
In case you haven’t checked Portalarium’s “Crowdsource Asset Request List” in a while, you may be interested to know that the company continues to have need of fan-developed assets for Shroud of the Avatar.
Currently, their high-priority needs include practice dummies, archery targets, boating implements, small boats, fishing supplies, sea creatures and shells…and weapons (including both standard medieval-type implements and “magical devices”).
Anyone know what modeling software they’re using? I’m guessing 3dsmax or Blender. I know they want them in some sort of Unity format, but that seems a bit of a “gift horse” scenario to me and would like to think it’s not a strict requirement (within reason).
Would be cool if I could pimp them some of the assets I’ve made or plan to make. I don’t think they’d be interested in my architectural stuff, though, as it appears we’re pursuing two different strategies there.
I can’t do 3D modeling and I can’t draw past stick figures. I wish there was a way I could contribute to the game through writing, such as in-game books.
