Lots of Big Ticket Ultima Sales on eBay Right Now
I don’t know what it is, but it seems as though there’s an inordinate number of big ticket (read: expensive) Ultima-related auctions and sales taking place on eBay right now.
For example, there’s this large collection (asking price: 6,000 GPB, or about $9,600 USD):

The first Ultima Release after Akalabeth!
California Pacific Version
This Game came direct without Box…
And then there’s this beat-up copy of Escape from Mount Drash (current bid: $1,626.10 USD):
When we originally listed this classic video game, along with several others on eBay, we obviously had no idea what we had stumbled upon.
Thanks to the many of you who sent emails telling us what we had and where best online to research this game.
We have now done our research on this game and found that it has been constantly and regularily described as the “Holy Grail” and the “rarest of all video games for the VIC-20”.
This video game is a major investment grade piece and is recommended for future growth.
There have been only 15 known copies to surface in the last ten years.
Only four of those copies included the instruction pages and box as is the set we’re offering in this auction.
So…if you aren’t already tapped out from backing Shroud of the Avatar, pledging to Movember and Extra Life, and buying gold keys in Ultima Forever, here are still yet more ways to spend your hard-earned money on Ultima-related pursuits.
