I trust that most of you here were aware that Owen Garriott, Richard Garriott’s father, was also an astronaut, who spent time aboard Skylab, the Space Shuttle, and the International Space Station in the service of NASA?

As it happens, both Richard and Owen Garriott will be the subject of a public interview at an Explorers Club event to be held next week at the club’s New York headquarters.

Come hear interviewer Jim Clash FR’99 probe the brains of these two legends for the differences and similarities in their space trips – and for what it’s like having two astronauts in the same family! After the interview, Clash will open questions to audience members.

Tickets are only $20, or $5 with valid student ID. The event kicks off at 6:00 PM with a reception, with the interview commencing at 7:00 PM.
