BioWare Austin is still teasing the next update to Star Wars: The Old Republic, playing up the corporate propaganda angle a fair bit. A new operation — entitled Legions of Scum and Villainy — is also due in the very near future.

PC Gamer finally got around to reviewing the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion to BioWare’s MMORPG, while Massively assesses the game overall in a “mid-term report card” post.

BioWare, for their own part, have been talking about Knights of the Old Republic lately, marking the 10th anniversary of that game and noting its influence on later titles — The Old Republic included.

In Mass Effect news, meanwhile…well…there’s this interview with Mark Meer to check out. And BioWare will evidently be bringing a small army of cosplayers to the San Diego Comic Con this year, which group we can reasonably expect to include a lot of Mass Effect-related content.
