GameInformer has publicized and introduced Garrett, the titular character in Thief. He’s a bit…an analysis of the history of this latest entry in the Thief saga, and yet another piece about the legacy of the series. Eidos Montreal has also stated that the next Thief game can be played without having to kill any NPCs.
Overhaul Games is seeking input from fans for the Android version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition.
Cryptic Studios has released a new trailer showcasing the city of Neverwinter, the “Jewel of the North”. They’ve also released excerpts from the game’s bestiary, and a closer glimpse at the Rogue class. And if you’re in the beta coming up this weekend, you’ll get a chance to try out the Great Weapon Fighter.
Deus Ex: Sonic Augmentation has been released; you can find a link on the official Deus Ex Facebook page. It was also announced recently that Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be coming to the Wii U; evidently a Director’s Cut.
Driftmoon continues to garner positive reviews, as well it should. I haven’t cracked into it all that much myself, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve played of it thus far.
Supergiant Games’ next title, Transistor, looks pretty sweet.
Legend of Grimrock just got a Master Quest add-on, evidently a fan-made mod that adds a ton of content to the game and accepts saved characters as imports.
Oh, and although Junction Point Studios is gone, Epic Mickey 2 will be coming to the PS Vita.
There’s a new trailer for BioShock Infinite, and both GameInformer and PC Gamer have interviews with Gary Schyman, the game’s composer. A television spot was also released…with some interesting sequences in it. Elizabeth, the game’s heroine, is the subject of yet another trailer.
Actually, Elizabeth has been the subject of a fair bit of attention in the last few days, as evidenced by this “making of” video that describes the women that influenced her creation. Polygon also has some details about the actual design of the character’s model, and how she wasn’t initially attractive enough.
As well, the game’s full voice cast was recently revealed.
Ken Levine has given a number of interviews, including to the Telegraph, GiantBomb, Destructoid…and of course there was his big BAFTA chat (video here).
There’s also a Mac version of Infinite coming…in the summer.
