Ex-Interplay Fridays
Okay, okay, it’s been one of those weekends. I took the day off of work yesterday, and by the end of the day was so wiped that I totally thought (since hey…I hadn’t been to work!) that yesterday was Saturday. Consequently, I posted the Larian Studios article. Well, it turns out that yesterday was Friday, whereas today is Saturday. And while I still disagree with the calendar on that point, here’s the round-up of Obsidian and inXile Entertainment-related news. Because persistence.
The Torment: Tides of Numenera Kickstarter campaign officially beat Wasteland 2’s total today, with twelve days to go.
The latest update to the Tides of Numenera campaign, by the way, has announced a stretch goal that should catch the attention of RPG fans everywhere: Chris Avellone will contribute to the project as a writer should it reach $3.5 million. Which it seems poised to do, so…this could well and truly turn out to be a proper Torment game.
Speaking of Chris Avellone, AggroGamer has an interview with him.
Kotaku, meanwhile, has a nice sample of Mark Morgan’s Tides of Numenera soundtrack. And the Penny Arcade Report has an interview with Kevin Saunders and Colin McComb.
