The Savage Empire Remake: What Is This Thing?

Scythifuge posted a new piece of art to The Savage Empire Remake’s Facebook page, which frankly I’m not sure what to make of. It can be seen above…make of it what you will, because I can’t even begin to speculate what it is we might be looking at.

    That’s obviously the Mayan calendar; it’s been updated through 2013 with an option to add more years.

    This piece is inspired by The Aztec Calendar Stone, which was found in 1790 under the main square in Mexico City, It will be a prop in Tichticatl.
