Goldenflame Dragon posted a short update on the status of his web-based, tiled RPG, The Dark Unknown:

I wasn’t really in the mood but I forced myself to sit down and write some Dark Unknown code… now you can navigate through spellbooks with the arrow keys to choose your spell. Can’t actually hit enter to cast one yet, but that’s next (even if the function that’ll call won’t do anything yet!), at which point I’ll add some mouseclick detection so you can navigate on a tablet, because grr.

Few more days and I’ll have spellbooks in a pretty happy place…

As always, it’s great to hear of progress from an Ultima fan project.
