If you happen to live in Europe, Australia, and/or New Zealand, you can pre-order a physical copy of BioShock Infinite that comes in a really quite swanky metal case. And if pre-order bonuses aren’t the sort of thing to tickle your fancy where a game is concerned, how about a new trailer showing off the power of Elizabeth, who will be your main NPC companion in the game as well as the vehicle for much of its plot? She is evidently not the sort of young lady you want to mess with.

Still no? How about a faux-documentary about the game’s setting?

Interesting factoid: BioShock Infinite had a lot of content cut from it, it would seem…enough to make five or six games. Some of it seems to have been dropped to avoid seeming unoriginal, and I would wager that still yet more was cut to improve the pacing of the game. Even so…it’s scary to think that the final product will feature, at most, 16% or so of what Irrational put together for the game.

At any rate, the game has gone gold, and we can look forward to playing it next month.
