Bethesda Thursdays
Dunwall City Trials, the first DLC for Arkane Studios’ Dishonored, was released earlier this week. Reviews of it seem generally positive, especially amongst those who already loved the game’s…er…gameplay.
In other somewhat-related news, Chris Thursten at PC Gamer has continued his “no trace” playthrough of Dishonored, while Kotaku has a bit of a laugh over the protagonist’s inability to pour himself a beer.
Oh, and PC Gamer have nominated Dishonored for their game of the year. Of course.
A new Q&A for The Elder Scrolls Online was posted recently; it focuses on elf lore and cats, among other things. Like cannibalism. Yeah.
And wow, are the reviews of Dragonborn, the latest DLC for Skyrim, ever rolling in. And wow, are said reviews ever positive…at least for the most part. “Miraak-ulous,” says Joystiq. “I sincerely hope that this is the model going forward for all future DLC,” says Destructoid.
Well then! Sounds like Bethesda turned out a winner with this one, which is good given the rather…tepid reception that other DLC for Skyrim have received.
Finally, progress on OpenMW continues apace. Zini, from the Titans of Ether, is still busying himself whipping the editor for said engine into shape.
Do some research on the Green Pact concerning the Bosmer?
