Fall and winter are, as some of you are aware, almost always busy times where I work. I end up doing a large portion of my travel for any given year in the last three or four months, and 2012 is following the same pattern.

The latest destination is Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the focus of a Garth Brooks song and the capital of Louisiana. I’ll be there between the 21st and 26th of October, and while I’ll be spending most of my daytime hours at the client site, I will have the evenings to myself.

So as always, I’d like to extend my usual invitation/offer: if you live in or near Baton Rouge, or if you’ll be in the area toward the end of October, I’d be happy to meet you anywhere for drinks and/or dinner, or just to hang out. Also welcome are suggestions as to where the best Cajun and Creole eats can be found!
