Codex Dragon — known to mere mortals as Felicia Day — posted a vlog (video blog, for those not familiar with the term) a while ago in which she briefly mentioned her “Fictional Top Five”…which appears to be the list of her favourite five fictional characters:

I’d be interested to know how Iolo got on the list, above other long-running Ultima characters! I guess picking one of the three amigos isn’t that unexpected, since they get quite a lot of character development, unlike many others.
Don’t know anything about Felicia other than that she did some voice acting for ME or some other game, but my response to this video is “Holy shit”. She’s kinda methy. Or celebry. Or something… She and people walking around with their heads down futzing with phones might be in the same camp, except she appeals to the video masses instead of just whoever’s getting the text. Then again I don’t know, obviously. Can someone fill me in on what her deal is, other than trying to be successful (as we all are)?
Apparently, I’m too old to know what the hell most of what you just said means. Or I need coffee. lol
Felicia Day is a writer and actress who’s claim to fame, as it is, comes from her Internet following. She stars in her own online series, ‘The Guild’, was the lead actress in ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along Blog’, has had several other recurring roles (‘Eureka’ and ‘Dollhouse’ on TV, and too numerous to mention appearances on the Web). Seriously, check out her IMDB page, she is quite prolific.
Finally, and most important to us, Felicia is Codex Dragon of the UDIC. Her character on ‘The Guild’ is also named Codex. We heart Felicia. =)
The problem is that ‘The Guild’ hits a little too close to home.

Ahh… So she’s been into Ultima for a minute, then. Wonder how old she was? I was 12/13 when I first played it and am 36 now. I first knew about the UDIC via the Usenet before the web got hot, so I suspect she came on later being that she looks relatively young.
You gotta get up pretty early in the morning to nab Codex as your Dragon Name…
I don’t know for sure how long she’s been a member, but she and many Dragons go way back; she was quite young when she signed up. I’m told she’s remembered with some fondness as being almost boundlessly encouraging of people’s goals.
Kinda methy? Like she’s been smoking too much crystal? She definitely shows a serious amount of ADD.
I put the video on for a few minutes, until I realized she wasn’t going to actually talk about Ultima.
