There isn’t much news related to Piranha Bytes this week, which is a bit odd given how recently their newest game — Risen 2: Dark Waters — came out. PC Gamer has published their review of the game, as have several other gaming media outlets, and for the most part the consensus about the game is one we’ve heard before: it’s good…but the combat is fiddly, the graphics are wonky, and the AI is questionable.

And, of course, it would appear that publisher Deep Silver went absolutely bonkers in regard to locked-out, at-launch DLC. Which, of course, is just bloody unfortunate.

On the plus side, the first mods are starting to appear for the game, including one notable fix for the warping effect that evidently affects SpeedTree-generated foliage in the game.
