Tweets from both Jeff Skalski (the franchise producer for Ultima) and Carrie Gouskos (producer for Ultima Forever) tell the tale: Richard Garriott showed up at Mythic’s offices for a (surprise?) visit today:

Gouskos included a picture of Garriott holding Mythic’s copy of the “Britannia Needs You” poster (which features an Obamafied Richard Garriott smiling eerily for the camera), while Skalski posted a picture of himself and Garriott posing in front of an Ultima Online banner:

Nice to see a cordial relationship exists between Ultima’s current caretakers and its creator. (Actually, I have it on good authority that there’s a lot of mutual respect between the Shroud of the Avatar and Ultima Forever development teams.)
