Ultima Forever: July Release Announced

According to both the Ultima Forever Facebook page and the game’s official Twitter account, non-Canadian Ultima fans eager to give Mythic Entertainment’s new take on the series a try will be able to do so next month:

Oh, and they’ve released a new screenshot as well, featuring the Shrine of Spirituality (which we have of course added to our collection of Ultima Forever screenshots):

No word — yet — on potential Android or PC release dates, but the Ultima Forever Twitter feed has offered a couple of insights into what is upcoming, in the immediate sense, for the game…such as performance optimizations (which will hopefully bring the iPhone 4 into the game’s performance envelope):

…and adjustments to some in-game systems, hopefully to address some of the issues that have been identified with the game during its Canadian soft launch:

So, keep an eye on the iOS App Store next month, Dragons and Dragonettes. I look forward to seeing more of you in-game come July!
