ForgottenHallowsRise2010.zip contains 6 files:

ForgottenHallowsRise2010-readme.txt - this file

gamestate.ini - if placed inside the primary directory, this file will allow you to access the changed Avatar House

Static\triggers.flx - file to replace Ultima IX version of Triggers

Static\triggersbak.flx - a backup of the 1.19F.01 version of triggers.flx

Runtime\Nonfixed.14 - alterations to Earth Map

Runtime\Nonfixedbak.14 - original Earth Map

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Step-by-step Installation (same for first time install or upgrade)

1. After installing Ultima IX and patching to 1.18F, install patch version 1.19F.

2. Extract the contents of this zip into your Ultima IX directory.

3. Open your option.ini file in notepad, go to the line: Start=0

4. Replace that line with the following:

;Start=0
Start=Y/Ultima IX/gamestate.ini

Note that Y is the path to your Ultima IX folder.

5. You should also reduce your clipping distances as sometimes the map is a little packed with objects in a tight space. I suggest the following distances:

FarClippingPlaneDistance=2500
MiddleClippingPlaneDistance=2500

6. Enjoy the changes to the Avatar's House.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:

1. The backup version of the triggers.flx contains the music fix to the triggers.flx.

2. To access the changes to the Avatar House map, start the game and play it as is.

3. Starting the game from the starting save in the journal will result in starting the game from the original version of the Avatar's house.

4. To have the game start from your last savegame again, restore you add a semicolon before the <Start=.../gamestate.ini> and remove the semicolon before <Start=0>.

5. Oh the disappearing objects is intentional.

6. Happy Halloween. MwuHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
