  Fixes the Ultima IV party files from the CD Rom Ultima 1 - 6 series so that the Ultima V program can read them.

• moslo.zip Nov 30 1994 (3Kb) -- Slow down PC for old Ultimas

  Slows down speed of CPU to your choice (useful for slowing down older Ultimas that run too fast on newer machines). Fixes the error with Ultima II.

• patchv63.zip Jun 28 1995 (28Kb) -- Zap copy protection in old Ultimas

  Patcher v6.3. This program removes copy protection from a number of games, including Ultimas I - VI.

  January 2nd, 1995: This patch, 'U8PATCH(E)', patches the English version of Ultima VIII: Pagan. To use the patch, simply type: 'U8PATCH C:\ULTIMA8' (or whatever you named the subdirectory where you installed U8). Be sure to check out the 'U8PATCH.TXT' file (which explains the changes made by the patch) and the 'FANS.TXT' file (which is a letter from Lord British).

  This will allow General MIDI wavetable cards to correctly play the music and some sound effects from Ultima 7. Allows Ultima 7 to natively play General MIDI/GS music. This file does NOT come from Origin Systems.

• ult7p2gm.zip Jan 9 1996 (213Kb) -- Serpent Isle General MIDI / GS Update

  This will allow General MIDI wavetable cards to correctly play the music and *ALL* sound effects from Ultima 7 part 2. Allows Ultima 7 Part 2 to natively play General MIDI/GS music, and natively play GS sound effects ** Works GREAT if you have a GS sound card ** This file does NOT come from Origin Systems.
