Site Updates Will Be Sparse Until September (Also: Open Thread)
I have a lot of research to do — and a lot of articles to draft — over the next few days. As such, site updates will probably be minimal, if not non-existent, during that time.

I’ve just put a new post up at The Digital Lycaeum, asking for help figuring out an effective categorization scheme for the site.
The Digital Lycaeum is the newest feature offered by Ultima Aiera: a repository of Ultima-themed game assets that any interested fan project developers can access and make use of!
Seven years ago today, Ultima Aiera was launched as an alternative to Ultima: The Reconstruction (another project archive), and the home of The Ultima Orphanage. My, how things have changed!
Someone kindly set up an IRC channel which I will henceforth and heretofore adopt as Ultima Aiera’s official IRC channel.
Since I’ll be spending most of today in the air, and most of the weekend away from my keyboard, there probably won’t be much in the way of articles posted to the site until Monday. Though I’ll try and check comments from time to time, and will have access to email whilst in airports and my hotel.
Ultima Aiera is looking for article submissions from Ultima fans, explaining in detail why they love Ultima and what, in their opinion, makes for a proper Ultima game.
People have been very kindly supporting Aiera by purchasing things through the Amazon links that are featured in different places around the site. Every little bit of this sort of thing helps!
Withstand the Fury Dragon’s annual reflections on the Easter season. Decidely not Ultima-related, but hopefully worthwhile.
