Podcast Topic(s)

To celebrate the 100th episode of Spam Spam Spam Humbug, the other hosts have turned the tables on WtF Dragon, and have put him in the interview hot seat. We are also proud to announce the launch of SpamSpamSpamHumbug.com, and also the launch of Question and Answer portals (think: Stack Overflow) at both that site and here at the Ultima Codex.

How come the last two episodes of SSSH (99 & 100) aren’t on the Podbean podcast feed? Can’t get them in my podcast app…

    • WtF Dragon says:

Because it’s been moved off of Podbean. SSSH is now hosted through Anchor.fm.

I will take a look and see if there’s a setting I can enable at our old Podbean profile to get our new feed into the app though.

Thanks for the info! Is it no longer possible to download episodes? My podcast RSS downloader can’t seem to get the Anchor episodes and I couldn’t find any download links.

I did go through the process to permanently 301 the podcast feed from Podbean to Anchor, and I note that both Pocket Casts (my app of choice) and Apple’s default Podcasts app both detect new episodes when I post them.

The Anchor.fm feed, if you want to do it manually, is thus: https://anchor.fm/s/dd4bf4/podcast/rss

As for episode downloads, you can probably grab them from https://patreon.com/ultimacodex – episodes posted there become public after three days, and download links for the MP3 files are included therewith.

Thank you for the thorough and helpful info, WtF (as well as the podcast itself)!

      You’re welcome!

I’ll be looking into adding downloads at spamspamspamhumbug.com in the near future as well, but for now, at least the Patreon option works.
