Michael Davis alerted the Ultima Dragons Facebook group to the existence of his gorgeous chess-like game for PC, REX, recently…and dropped a hint as to the existence of some Ultima Easter eggs therein:

Hey dragons! I just released a new version of my game Rex, with even more Ultima-inspired easter eggs in the art 😀 As always I’d love to know what y’all think! The rules are very simple and games take 5-20 minutes each.

You can spot one such Easter egg in the screenshot above (and possibly more than one). If you want to find out a bit more about REX, I’d suggest checking out the game’s website. It can be purchased via GameJolt, whereat it is — at the time of this writing — on sale for $4.99 USD.
