Unknown Realm: New Stretch Goals; Vote Now on Steam Greenlight

Stirring Dragon Games have some big news for us today: Unknown Realm: The Siege Perilous is now up on Steam Greenlight; click on over and vote for it to see it added — when it comes out, of course — to Valve’s massive digital storefront.

Additionally, over on Kickstarter, some additional stretch goals have been announced for the final nine (as of this writing) days of the crowdfunding campaign:

As stated in our previous update, we have fully unrolled our Stretch Goal Scroll to reveal where we want to take Unknown Realm in the remaining days of this campaign. We will post updates to provide more details on each goal as the previous one gets unlocked. So, for example, when we unlock the Quest Card stretch goal, we’ll post an update about the next one, etc.

Many of these stretch goals reflect the most common (doable) requests we’ve had from backers including mouse support, “making of” book, Linux version and most surprising of all, a PocketC.H.I.P. version. After doing a bit of research, it turns out that the PocketC.H.I.P. has established itself as a viable portable gaming system that fits in your pocket and best of all, it has a keyboard! This makes it a perfect platform for an Unknown Realm port. We love the idea of walking around with a retro role-playing game in your pocket and we think PocketC.H.I.P. gamers will as well.

We’ve carefully considered each one of these goals to make sure they will not interfere with our base development timeline, so certain items such as the “making of” book, and the Linux/PocketC.H.I.P versions will have a staggered release after the game ships. Everyone that backs us at the DIGITAL KNIGHT level (or higher) will get a free copy of Unknown Realm for the PocketC.H.I.P. when it become available.

Here, then, is the scroll in its glorious entirety:

As of this writing, Unknown Realm has raised $84,073 USD via Kickstarter. If you haven’t yet pledged to the project, there are — as mentioned above — still nine days left to do so, so click on through and get on that. According to Kicktraq, Unknown Realm is on track to earn about $116,000 USD in total, which won’t be enough for the epic soundtrack stretch goal…but hopefully a renewed funding push over the last week and a bit will push the total up to where it needs to be to make that happen.
