Byte-Sized Virtue: Season 3, Episode 7 – I Am One With the Force
It’s never easy to wind down a season of Byte-Sized Virtue, especially not one where the discussions have been as varied as has been the case this time around.
But a an interesting realization occurred to Withstand the Fury Dragon on the way home from seeing Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that might just prove to be the key to tying everything up neatly.
This article at First Things didn’t inform any of my reflections on Rogue One, by the way, but it covers some of the same things…and does a rather better job of it, overall.
The season of Advent — four weeks of preparation, reflection, and penance that precede Christmas — began on Sunday, November 27th. It will continue until Christmas proper, and the Christmas season continues thereafter until the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord (January 8th or 9th, which is the first Sunday that follows Epiphany (which, in turn, is observed on January 6th). Unless you’re really cool and observe the longer Christmas season that runs until Candlemas (February 2nd).
