Crowfall: Skill Training FAQ Published

crowfall_Assassin_GraphicWallpaperArtCraft Entertainment have published a new FAQ about how skills and training will work in Crowfall.

Here’s the first two:

How does passive training work?

Passive training allows you to advance your character(s) skills, whether or not you are actively logged in and playing the game.

Narratively speaking, this is represented in the game by having a temple with Thrall priests “praying” for your Hero to remember the skills from his previous life.

Is there active training, too?

Yes, you can advance a skill through use — but only to get proficiency. Passive training is the primary way of advancing your character’s skills.

And it’s worth reading to the end, because there are also some art-related features…like the image of the Assassin class seen here.

The Crowfall Kickstarter campaign still has about 15 days to go, and has raised $1,098,274 as of this writing. It’s a bit short of the $1.3 million stretch goal, although given the amount of time remaining, it should reach that milestone with little difficulty.
