Earlier today, on the official Shroud of the Avatar Twitter feed, a tweet was sent out, directed to one of the higher-ups at Twitch.

Attached to it was the image you see to the right, which is purportedly the cover art for the first episode — Forsaken Virtues — of the Shroud of the Avatar series. The Avatar depicted seems to have rather bloody hands, it should be noted. Why, one wonders, is this?

This is evidently a Denis Loubet piece, although he was evidently surprised by its release:

And it must be said: the artwork has a rather familiar look to it. Fortunately, Mr. Loubet has some assurances to offer there, as well:

That said, the cover doesn’t look bad at all; the Avatar is attired in a most familiar way, after all.
