The latest update posted to the Crowfall website reveals the Knight character class, the first revealed class that features a selectable gender. You can see an in-game screenshot of the (male) Knight above, and find another bit of narrative at the class’ page.

Also revealed in the same update was the first sample of the Crowfall soundtrack:
