Slashing Dragon has released version 1.48 of Ananias, his roguelike for mobile devices.

As can be seen above, one of the significant changes in this version is that players may now select female characters. As well, weapons and some items can now be thrown; weapons will do more damage when tossed, whereas other items may shatter. A teleport spell has also been added to the game. As per usual, it can be played online or on Android devices.

Slash has also launched a new Indiegogo campaign for Ananias. This time, his goal is to finance four things: an enhanced sprite pack (with a faux-3D perspective), new cover art, a complete soundtrack, and a high-qualify sound effects package. Here’s a sample of the faux-3D look that he wants to achieve with the enhanced sprites:
