A New PC Port of Mount Drash

I’ve been working on the PC port of Mount Drash…I know many don’t consider it Ultima, but what the hey, I have plenty of free time. I’ve added in scaling (very basic & simple so far – I’m working on it,) and I’ve made the opening sequence more like the original. I’m considering trying to add in sound & music, if I can find someone who knows Vic20 assembly well enough to help me dig it out. I’ve also been fixing minor bugs as I find them (enemies disappearing, not being as aggressive as the original, etc…

He also has a question for the Ultima fandom:

What I’m wondering is, should I also fix the minor issues in the original game, or leave those in? (for example the top of your head disappearing in counter-thrust stance.)

I would personally come down on the side of fixing the minor issues to further improve the gameplay experience. If your mileage varies, sound off in the comments below, or on Facebook (if you’re part of the Ultima Dragons group there).
