Richard Garriott has, in the past, made the claim that the name of his other alter-ego, Shamino Sallé Dacil, came from a mis-spelling of the word “Shimano”, which is the name of a manufacturer of bicycle parts. Other takeaways from the latest map piece include the appearance of a new town (Kiln), and a change in appearance fo the fortress now known as Hilt. It was previously depicted as a castle; now, it is most definitely a tower.
