Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore

A few updates have been posted to Guido Henkel’s Deathfire Kickstarter page, which cover such varied topics as combat mechanics, characters, new backer rewards, and even some actual gameplay.

Henkel himself also gave an interview or two, including one to Matt Barton.

It’s kind of a pity that the actual Deathfire Kickstarter campaign seems to be moving at a lackluster pace (at best); it seems like an interesting title.

There’s a new Wasteland 2 screenshot. As well, inXile is evidently wrestling with whether to feature turn-based or pause-based combat in Torment: Tides of Numenera. #GameDevProblems, people.

The ERSB leaked a few details about South Park: The Stick of Truth recently. There’s also an interview with Adam Brennecke at IncGamers, the topic of which is Project Eternity, and an interview with Josh Sawyer as well. The slides from Sawyer’s GDC Next panel have also been published, for those of you curious about his presentation at that conference.
