BioWare Mondays

Star Wars: The Old Republic

The upcoming Galactic Starfighter expansion for BioWare’s Star Wars MMORPG continues to look awesome, if not quite as enticing as…say…Star Citizen. The third-person flight mechanics seem a bit too Starfox-like for my tastes, but the expansion is, apparently, overall quite excellent in terms of what it offers. It does offer a lot of RPG elements for what is ostensibly a space combat flight sim package.

Of course, the main limitation to it is that it’s only enabled for the game’s PvP mode; the free-form flight mechanics won’t be available as part of the space missions that are part of the game’s storyline.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

There’s…well, there’s this article, which speculates about what role Morrigan might play in the upcoming Dragon Age game. And that’s about it, actually. A quiet week, on this front.

Well this is probably the only thing that could get me to play the StarWars MMO. Just felt a bit disconnected due to it’s spot in the SW timeline.

I will def get involved in testing these flight models and see if it is worth investing the time into. I’m into War Thunder at the moment and loving it, though I may abandon this for StarCitizen when it is available… SotA and SC… Where the hell am I going to find the time!
