Random Wednesdays

Since I’m still shaking off the effects of the latest plague, I’m going to stick to the list format for another week. And this week actually has a somewhat smaller list of links, compared to the usual Wednesday fare, so it won’t even be a terribly lengthy article.

Let’s start with BioShock Infinite, which (did you know?) has a board game adaptation:

Moving on, Might & Magic X’s development has been proceeding apace. I’m geniunely intrigued by this game, so much so that I recently reinstalled World of Xeen to re-live some of the…er…magic of this particular series.

It was previously mentioned, I think, that Beamdog and Overhaul Games have resolved whatever issues existed between them and Atari. This of course has meant that Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition is back in production:

EverQuest Next, meanwhile, continues to look amazing:

And…er…ephemera. Yes.

Oh, right, there’s also the Golden Joystick Awards. BioShock Infinite is nominated in a bunch of categories, including Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Moment (for the Hallelujah sequence), and Game of the Year. Irrational Games nabbed a nomination for Studio of the Year, as well. And Deus Ex: The Fall is up for Best Mobile Game.
