I believe Rustic Dragon’s tweet says it all:

A grand total of just a hair shy of $13,000 toward Shroud of the Avatar from almost 100 playsers is an amazing feat, made possible only by the enormous outpouring of support from the community. So thank you, thank you, thank you! It was a humbling, exciting project to be involved in, and I’m proud of the accomplishments of Rustic and the rest of the Heroes of the Hearth!

As he has noted on the Hearth of Britannia, the prizes will be distributed next month.

I must say that Rustic Dragon really raised the bar for fan commitment and participation with the Telethon. I lurked through it via the Hearth main site and embarrassed myself a bit (silently, as that’s all it takes for me to garner shame) around the fourth and fifth segments by getting slizzard and beyond. My first web cam appearance, so what can I say?

Anyway, great event and I’m proud to have witnessed it. I think great things abound for SotA and can’t remember the last time I was more excited about a game other than when receiving and unboxing an Ultima for the first time when I was a teenager.

    • You should have got on and showed off Sanctimonia. Would have been a great thing to see. Maybe in a future Dragonsmeet.

      • It’s true! I’d absolutely love to have Sactimonia presented during a Dragonsmeet (or two). 🙂

I was trying to lurk but left my mic on a few times thinking I was on admin mute when I wasn’t. I thought about showing off the game, but decided it was all about SotA (which it was), so I was pretty paranoid about changing the topic of conversation. It was the first time I’ve ever been on any form of audio/video chat so I was trying to not distract people. Would have been cool though. Wish I had more Linux peeps so I could test multiplayer.
