Bethesda Thursdays

The Brigmore Witches, the latest DLC for Dishonored, was released this week (you can check out the launch trailer here), to mostly rave reviews. Arkane seem to have added a worthy piece of content to the Dishonored legacy, and a fine sequel to the previous expansion released for the game.

Arkane, for their part, are already looking to the franchise’s future. They’re also looking for a tools engineer, if that’s your thing.

The First Age of Update: Or maybe the above is something of a lie. Kotaku is reporting that Bethesda has been…misleading the public, shall we say?…and that Arkane is working on Prey 2 at its Austin studio, with the Lyon studio now tasked with future Dishonored-related developments.

A new round of beta invites for The Elder Scrolls Online has been sent out, and another preview of the upcoming MMORPG has been published (actually, there’s been a few). It was also confirmed this week that the game will see a high frequence of post-launch updates and support, with new content being added to the game quite frequently.

Other bits of news have also come out concerning the game, and the developers at Zenimax Online held another Q&A session recently.

US Gamer, looking at all of this, felt prompted to wonder where The Elder Scrolls will go from here.

And, of course, OpenMW had another productive week.
