Someone — I think it was Kevin Fishburne — pointed out recently that I hadn’t actually made a formal announcement of Dragonlet #3’s birth last month, as I did for Dragonlet #1 (although her picture is offline at the moment thanks to the recent server move) and Dragonlet #2.

It’s tiring work, being a baby.

So…yes! I became a father for the third time last month, on July 13th, at about 3:30 in the afternoon. The Dragoness delivered our third, 7 lbs. and 4 oz. daughter into the world at the same hospital where the first two were born, and it must be said that #3 is quite nearly the spitting image of her immediately-older sister…so much so that we still sometimes call her by Dragonlet #2’s name, rather than her own name.

At any rate, and as you can well imagine, this has made life fairly hectic at our house. We just upgraded to a larger vehicle this week, in fact, an 8-passenger Chevolet Traverse. And we’re all just a little bit on the tired side. Still, the two older sisters seem to be, generally, very much in love with their younger sister, and darn if she isn’t just a little cutie…so much so that I don’t really mind being outnumbered four to one in the house.
