All well and good, but systems before static assets, please (especially with regard to architecture). A taste of things which have already come, and should come again:

“Keeeep walking, but you won’t knock down our wall.
Keep walking! But she isn’t gonna fall!
It’s plain to see your brains are very small to think walking-
will be knocking down our wall!”

Hahaha, VeggieTales. I like it. Of course, in SotA and games with (a-hem) similar characteristics, it should take more than marching and blowing horns to raze walls. One should however be able to approach a wall segment with proper kinetic implements and damage it to the point of structural failure, with intermediate graphical conveyances of its level of “health” and equal opportunities to repair it.

Can you tell I’m flat out happy tonight? After 17 days of pain I damn well should be. 75% of the time game dev is painful, but the other 25% really makes up for it. Looking forward to your Dragonlet III announcement too. A trio, like the principles.
