Shroud of the Avatar: Pen of the Avatar, July 16, 2013
Another Tuesday has come and gone, which can only mean that Portalarium concept artist Stephen Daniele has held another Pen of the Avatar session on Google+.
This week, we were treated to the creation of the concept art for the Darkstarr Metronome, a new backer reward that will be given to all who have pledged at the Virtual Collector ($110+) level prior to the end of the month. As you might infer from the name, the Metronome is one of the ways Portalarium is celebrating Starr Long joining the Shroud of the Avatar development team.
Additionally, the good Mr. Daniele uploaded several high-resolution versions of the concept art to this thread at the Shroud of the Avatar forums:
That is a pretty epic-sized metronome. I wonder where the heck I’m going to be able to put mine, seeing as how I don’t own a house?
Perhaps in your Doctor Who backpack which allows the storage of chairs. Jests aside, SotA seems to be shaping up into something fairly exciting even to my jaded sensibilities. Glad to see the stars aligning for Garriott and team. I sincerely hope they don’t wander too far from what appears to be the path of ultimate conclusion paired with sensible execution.
