The Might & Magic X development team have published a blog post in which they explain and defend their decision to make “the first Might & Magic RPG in ten years” a “tile-based, turn-based, old-school all the way” title. They also give us a glimpse of the game’s dungeon editor in action.

That said, they do note that later titles in the series might have more freeform movement.

The creative director for BioShock 2, Jordan Thomas, has left 2K Marin, and has evidently founded an indie studio to work on…some project that takes BioShock as its inspiration. More details someday!

We can also expect to find out more about the upcoming DLC for BioShock Infinite later this month.

There’s a new development diary from the Thief team available, which looks at the backstory of the game’s protagonist.
